South East Asian Pop Up

Sarah and I are both huge fans of food from South East Asia and I often cook Thai food when I get the chance, though committing to doing a Thai Pop Up did actually fill me with horror as I was anxious about doing the theme justice. I can make a tasty Thai Green Curry and make pretty damn good Thai Crab Cakes (even if I do say so myself…..) so there are some dishes I’m very confident with, but in all honesty, I didn’t think that these two farming gals could pull off a full Thai menu. But……we’ve just been to a fabulous cookery class up at Swinton Park Cookery School (which I cannot recommend highly enough by the way) and I have quashed those initial fears….and we’re going all out for our final Pop Up Restaurant of 2017 – South East Asia, here we come!!

We published the menu on facebook, within a few hours of going to the cookery school and we were amazed at the reaction, we had filled the Pop Up Restaurant within 24 hours – how amazing is that (by the way, we’ve only pinched two recipes from the cookery class!!!). We obviously have a lot of South-East-Asian – Food-Lovers out there. We hope that you won’t be disappointed. So here we have it….chopsticks at the ready… our first Asian-Themed Pop Up!
